Button, Button, Who's got the button?

I have lost my belly button! It is gone. All that is left of it is some wrinkles in the middle of my belly. It should be returning soon with a different identity: Outtie. I hope I find my original belly button after the birth!

Escape Attempts

It seems that our little Stinker Butt is trying to find a way to escape. For the past week she has been pushing as hard as she can against some part of my stomach. Last night was the first time we could actually see a body part protruding. I think Ben's exact words were: "That's weird!! That's gross!! That is weird!!" We think she's trying to find a way out and thinks that if she pushes hard enough in one spot maybe she will be able to break out. She is just going to have to learn patience.

36, 24, 36 - Not Quite

I took another measurement of my belly this morning. I realized that I hadn't done that since May. I have added 9 inches to my original waist size. It seems like I've gained a lot more than that, but I guess the measuring tape doesn't lie. I'll start getting official measurements from my doctor at my next appointment.

On to the topic of the baby's nursery, Ben and I purchased a crib this weekend. Bringing that home made it really sink in for me that we're really going to have a baby living with us! We don't have it set up yet because Ben is going to paint the room first. And darn it anyways, I won't be able to help with that project - Shucks!

Just One!

I am feeling a little offended right now! A patient who was in our office today asked me if I was expecting 3 babies or just 2. Now, I don't think I look like I am carrying more than one baby. Maybe because I have a shorter torso the baby has nowhere else to go except out!! I will have Ben take another picture of me and let everyone else be the judge.

In other pregnancy news, I feel like I have a bowling ball sitting on my bladder. It's normal to go to the bathroom more than 10 times a day right? If I lay on my side the bowling ball moves off my bladder. It's much better that way. I have also been perfecting the "pregnancy waddle." This hasn't yet hit the modeling runways, but I think if pregnant women continue to waddle it's popularity will spill over into other areas of our culture.

I don't have another doctor's appointment for a couple weeks, so until then it will just be me with my opinions and "technical" dialogue!!
