The Waiting

I am going to make reference to a Tom Petty song called "The Waiting" in which the lyrics say "The Waiting is the hardest part." That should be my theme song now. I have heard over and over and over again that the last month takes the longest!! I have been trying to take it just one day at a time and think that every day I'm just one day closer, but then I start counting down how many days and weeks are left (2 weeks and 5 days) and that just makes it much harder to wait for. I'm getting so impatient and anxious for the big day!! I told Ben that hopefully the baby will take after me because I like to be on time or early for things, so maybe the baby will come early. I have a doctor's appointment this Wednesday and I, of course, have my fingers crossed for news that I could deliver early!! I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas, it just can't get here quick enough!!
